The millionth iLOQ key delivered to border city Haparanda

iLOQ closed year 2016 in grand style, besides setting new records in sales, the delivery of the one millionth key occurred on Thursday 15th December.

iLOQ had again a great year of growth internationally, with a turnover of over 33,7 M€ and a growth compared to year 2015 of 46%. The company also grew with several new persons both in sales and operations.
The amount of delivered keys landed at 1,027,721 pcs at the end of the year, but one million keys was reached in the middle of December, and that key went to an iLOQ partner in Sweden, BBGruppen in Luleå that delivered it onwards to the end customer, Haparandabostäder.

We are all quite proud of this milestone achievement. It shows digitalization in locking is ongoing and accelerating as understanding of unbeatable benefits that battery-free digital locks brings is getting more common, says Tomi Karjalainen, Chief Sales and Marketing Officer of iLOQ Ltd.

In honor of the millionth key, gold plated iLOQ keys were manufactured and framed. Two of these framed keys were handed over to the iLOQ partner involved in the project and to the end customer on 17th January. Present was the representative for BBGruppen in Luleå Henrik Burman, Kalle Kyösti for Haparandabostäder, and CEO iLOQ Scandinavia Mårten Persson with iLOQ Sales manager for northern Sweden, Anders Dahlgren.

iLOQ has together with the partner been in contact with Haparandabostäder for over one year and the project have finally come to the time for delivery. The delivery is to a residential building with 70 apartments. The project includes both internal and external doors to the apartments via exterior corridors.
One of the highly-appreciated advantages with iLOQ is the fact that we easily can change the access rights or put a key on the black list by ourselves or with the help of BBGruppen in Luleå says Kalle Kyösti, purchaser at the municipality of Haparanda.

I’m happy we got this honor in Sweden to hand out the millionth iLOQ key and that it went to Haparandabostäder, says Mårten Persson, CEO of iLOQ Scandinavia AB.
