Working with Floor Plans

This section describes how to work with floor plans in iLOQ 5 Series Manager.

Proceed as follows.

  1. Select Basic data > Floor plans.
  2. Select a floor plan by clicking the floor plan name in the floor plan list at the bottom right-hand corner of the screen.
  3. The following tools are available in the floor plan toolbar:
    • — If you press this button, you are presented with various floor plan options. The options are:

      • Change name — If you press this button, you can rename the floor plan.

      • Delete floor plan — If you press this button, you can delete the floor plan.

    • — If you press this button, you are presented with various zoom options. The options are:

      • Zoom 100 % — If you press this button, the floor plan is shown in its original size.

      • Zoom in — If you press this button, the floor plan is enlarged. You can also zoom the view with the mouse wheel. You can move the zoomed-in floor plan on the screen by keeping the right mouse button pressed and by moving the plan with your mouse.

      • Zoom out — If you press this button, the floor plan is reduced. You can also zoom the view with the mouse wheel.

      • Fit document — If you press this button, the floor plan is enlarged to fill the view.

      • Zoom area — If you press this button, you can select an area on the floor plan, and the selected area will be zoomed to fit the window width.

    • — Use this drop-down list to select the size of the lock symbols on the floor plan.

    • — If you press this button, the mouse cursor will, by default, move the lock, when you click the lock on the floor plan.

    • — If you press this button, you can re-scale the lock topology, to match with a replaced floor plan that is of a different size than the original floor plan. For more information, see Dealing with Re-scaled Floor Plans.

    • — Use this drop-down menu to print out the floor plan and the locks on it. The options are:

      • Print PDF — Select Print PDF to print out a PDF version of the floor plan.

      • Print JPEG — Select Print PDF to print out a JPEG version of the floor plan.

      • Print area — Select Print area to print out the the selected area and all locks on it.

      • Copy to clipboard — Select Copy to clipboard to copy the complete floorplan and all locks on it, to the clipboard.

      • Copy area to clipboard — Select Copy area to clipboard to copy the selected area and all locks on it, to the clipboard.
