Selecting Programming Phones for Locks

This section describes how to select the phones that shall be used to program locks, on iLOQ Manager.

Note:

Mandatory fields are marked with an asterisk (*).

Proceed as follows.

  1. Select Basic data > Browse locks.

  2. Select the desired lock(s).
  3. Right-click to select Edit default programming phones.
    The Lock programming phones definition wizard is opened.
  4. Select Select programming phones for locks.
  5. Select either:
    • All phones that have access to lock — If you select this option, all phones that already have access to the lock, will be able to transmit the programming packet to the lock. Time limits do not apply to the ability to program locks.

    • Selected phones — Select the phones that will be able to transmit the programming packet to the lock.

      You can manage the selection of phones with the arrow buttons as follows:

      • — Click the Arrows right button to move all items to the selection list.
      • — Click the Arrow right button to move the selected item(s) to the selection list.
      • — Click the Arrow left button to remove the selected item(s) from the selection list.
      • — Click the Arrows left button to remove all items from the selection list.
    • Phones store programming packets in cache — The options are:

      • If you check this check box, the phones that have access to the lock, will immediately receive the programming packet and store it into their cache. Programming of the lock will immediately take place when the phone is placed against the lock, as the programming packet will be in the phone cache.

      • If you do not check this check box, the programming packet will be loaded from the server, when the phone selected as a default programming phone is placed against the lock. Programming of the lock will last a bit longer, compared with programming from the phone cache.

  6. Select Next.
  7. A summary screen is shown.
  8. Select Ready.
  9. Select Close.
