Browsing the Audit Trail of Several Locks

This section describes how to browse audit trails from several locks, on iLOQ 5 Series Manager.

The audit trails refer to the logs that have been fetched to the server. There can also be audit trails that are not yet fetched from offline locks to the server.

Proceed as follows.

  1. Select Administration > Browse lock audit trails.

  2. Select the desired filters.

    The filtering options are:

    • Date — Select the dates from which the logs are fetched from.

    • Locks — Select the locks from which the logs are fetched from.

    • Keys — Select the keys from which the logs are fetched from.

    • Events — Select the log event types that you want to view.

      The options are:

      • Key access
      • Key access denied
      • Programming of lock
  3. Select Get lock events.

    The logs are shown according to your filtering selections.

    You can use the dynamic search field on the result grid, to narrow down the log list.

    The audit trail columns are:

    • Placement — This column indicates the door or room number on the floor plan where the lock is located at.
    • Locking target — This column contains a more detailed description of the door or room where the lock is located at.
    • Lock cylinderLock cylinder refers to the lock cylinder type.

    • Transit dateTransit date refers to the lock transit date.

    • Lock event counter — The number of events on the lock.

    • Type — The event type.

    • Confirmation — This column contains the reply that the user has given from the Phone app, to open/close the lock. The reply can be:

      • Lock opening confirmed by the keyholder
      • Lock closing confirmed by the keyholder
      • Lock opening / closing confirmation missing from the keyholder
      • Lock opening / closing was not confirmed by the keyholder
    • Person — The person who caused the event to be recorded.

    • Location (latitude, longitude) — The location coordinates.
    • Location accuracy (m) — The location accuracy in meters.
    • Location timestamp — The date and time when the location was measured.
    • Key — The key that was used in conjunction with the event.
