Viewing User Properties

This section describes how to view the properties of users on iLOQ 5 Series Manager.

Proceed as follows.

  1. Select Administration > Browse users.

  2. The users are shown in the grid view. For more information on an individual user, double-click the user.

    User-specific details are, by tabs:

    • Basic information — The Basic information tab contains the basic information on the selected user. The columns are described in section Browsing Persons.
    • User ID — The User ID tab contains information on the user as follows:
      • Usage right — This column lists the usage rights that the user ID has.
      • Source — This column contains the user ID and token combinations the user has. The user does not necessarily have any tokens, in which case the user ID only is listed in this column.
    • User's zones — The User's zones tab contains information on the iLOQ 5 Series Manager zones that the user has, if any.
      • Name — This column contains the name of the zone that the user has.
      • Description — This column contains a description of the zone to which the user has access.
    • Person's zones — The Person's zones tab contains information on the zones to which the person has been attached. In other words, the person is only visible to iLOQ 5 Series Manager users that also have user rights to this zone. The columns are:
      • Name — The name of the person.
      • Description — This column contains a description of the zone to which the person has access.
    • Roles — The Roles tab contains information on the person's roles. See Person Roles. The columns are:
      • Role — This column lists roles that the user ID has.
      • Description — This column contains the descriptions for the roles that the user ID has.
    • Keys — The Keys tab contains information on the person's keys. The columns are described in section Browsing Keys.
    • Access rights to locks — The Access rights to locks tab contains information on the person's access rights to locks. The columns are:
      • Placement — This column indicates the door or room number on the floor plan where the lock is located at.
      • Locking target — This column contains a more detailed description of the door or room where the lock is located at.
      • Programming state — This column contains the programming state of the lock. Possible values are:
        • Programmed — The lock has been programmed and it is ready for use.
        • Ordered — The lock has been ordered. A user with enough access rights can program the lock.
        • In planning — The lock has been added to the system, but is still in the planning state.
      • Estate — This column indicates the estate where the access right belongs to, if any.
      • Note — This column contains additional information on the lock, if any.
      • Count of access rights — This column indicates the number of access rights assigned for the lock.
      • Lock cylinder — This column indicates the lock cylinder type.
    • Documents — The Documents tab contains key hand over and/or key returning documents, if digitally signed.
  3. To exit, click Close.
