A flexible and efficient way to control keys

Reference

The flexible and efficient way to control keys, the long-term economy in relation to licenses, as well as the recommendation of other users of the system made choosing iLOQ’s digital locking system an easy decision.

Frederikssund Kommune is a municipality on the shores of Roskilde Fjord in eastern Denmark. The quayside and the activities of the fjord became a new focus for the town when the industrial dock in Frederikssund was closed in 1998, and the area was transformed into an interesting and exciting space for the population.

Developments in the harbor area include a new toilet block. The building needed to be secured with a locking system that was easy for foreign tourists to access (by key, mobile phone or PIN code), and that was able to withstand the challenges of a salt-water environment.

The customer chose the new iLOQ S5 due to the competitive price, 4G compatibility, the ability to operate reliably in harsh environments and the easy-to-use management system that makes it possible to remotely handle access rights via the Cloud. To date, iLOQ has delivered 320 keys, 12 offline locks and 13 online doors.

“What appealed to us was the simple installation and that no batteries are required. The flexible and efficient way to control the keys, the long-term economy in relation to licenses, as well as the recommendation of other users of the system made this an easy decision,” states Jan Greve Jensen, Project Manager, Kemp & Lauritzen A/S.
