Remote Site Workflow

This section describes what the person at the remote site does when re-programming locks.

Proceed as follows.

  1. Find the Programmer and ensure that the Token is in place.
  2. Switch on the Programmer.
  3. Insert the programming cable into the Programming Hot Spot.
  4. The USB light blinks during data communication.
  5. The communication ends when the STATUS light is illuminated constant orange, indicating that the Programmer has tasks.
  6. Remove the cable from the Programming Hot Spot.
  7. Switch on the Programmer.
  8. Re-program the defined locks by inserting the programming cable into the locks, and wait until you see the green STATUS light.
  9. Insert the programming cable into the Programming Hot Spot.
  10. The USB light blinks during data communication.
  11. The communication ends when the STATUS light is illuminated constant green, indicating that the Programmer has no tasks.

    If the STATUS light is:

    • Orange — There are still programming tasks in the Programmer, that is, there are one or more programming tasks waiting to be done.
    • Red — There is an error. Retry by inserting the programming cable into the Programming Hot Spot.
    • Green — The Programmer has no tasks.
  12. Remove the cable.
