iLOQ collaborates with Hartela

iLOQ has signed a framework agreement with Hartela Etelä-Suomi Ltd.

With the signed agreement, iLOQ’s locking solutions will continue to play a significant role in Hartela’s real estate portfolio. About half of Hartela’s sites to be built in southern Finland will be equipped with iLOQ’s S5 digital locking and access management solutions.

“We are delighted to be working together. For iLOQ, the agreement with Hartela is a testament to the fact that digital access management is the right solution for properties under construction. Digital access management will replace mechanical locking in the future, and, in this development, iLOQ is on the crest of the wave,” states Toni Päivinen, iLOQ’s Finnish Sales Director.

iLOQ delivers its unique self-powered S5 locking and access management solutions to Hartela’s selected properties. The agreement aims to increase cooperation between iLOQ and Hartela, and will bring iLOQ’s battery-free locking and access management solutions to more and more key users.

“This is a great step forward for Hartela and also provides a good starting point for future locking solutions for our properties. With the help of the digital locking system, Hartela wants to bring easy and safe, but, at the same time, modern and flexible movement to key users. If a key is lost, there is no need to re-serialize the locks and a trace of the use of the key will remain in the lock, which will make it easier to investigate possible misuse afterwards,” explains Markku Toppari, Hartela’s Purchasing Manager.
