Sustainability in everything we do

In our recent blog post, we described how companies are finally realizing they can no longer distance themselves and their operations from the eco-systems around them. We explained how it is important to have the right policies and strategies in place, and to conduct activities in ways to ensure a minimal use of natural resources and minimize environmental impact.

iLOQ has always been ahead of the game in the access management industry when it comes to acting sustainably. But, as a company, we are now writing sustainability into our strategy to ensure each and every member of the iLOQ family – our employees and also our partners and suppliers – are committed to acting sustainably in everything they do.

The first stage of this strategy is ensuring that all our employees fully understand our sustainability goals and what is required of them in their work roles to help us achieve these goals. A comprehensive package of information and mandatory e-learning modules have been created starting from the basics – what do we mean by sustainability – and moving forwards through – what sustainability means to iLOQ and how we can implement it into our everyday work.

This is not a one-off topic; we will continue to heavily invest in ongoing competence development to ensure that sustainability stays top of mind both now and in the future. By acting sustainably, we not only meet the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet theirs, but we also create value for our customers and partners.

Unique human experience

Competence development is one way of creating and maintaining the unique human experience for our personnel that we are proud of. This is a cornerstone of our strategy and a focus area within the ‘social’ pillar of sustainability. For example, the wellbeing of all members of the iLOQ Family is high on the agenda and helps us ensure an exceptionally positive employee experience on a day-to-day basis and throughout their entire career with iLOQ.
