SnapKey is deeply integrated with the iLOQ S50 platform to extend digital, battery-free locking with intelligent, off-grid security management and monitoring. The integration combines iLOQ’s proven digital locking technology with SnapKey’s web- and app-based management layer and wireless IoT sensor infrastructure, creating a unified solution for critical infrastructure environments.

Through the integration, SnapKey acts as a centralized control and orchestration layer on top of iLOQ. Access rights, phone keys, security groups, and time-based permissions are managed through SnapKey while remaining fully compatible with iLOQ’s offline and battery-free architecture. Changes such as revoking access, updating permissions, or adjusting security levels are synchronized instantly, ensuring fast response without requiring physical intervention at the lock.

SnapKey enhances iLOQ with advanced access workflows designed for high-risk and regulated environments. Digital keys can be shared securely with employees and subcontractors, automatically revoked after use, and distributed via app, SMS, or email. Before accessing sensitive areas, users can be required to acknowledge safety instructions, pass two-factor safety approvals, or receive clearance from connected security sensors. These workflows ensure that access is granted only when operational and safety conditions are met.

The integration also links iLOQ locks with wireless, battery-powered IoT sensors for real-time monitoring and alarm handling. Sensor data such as door status, intrusion, or technical alarms can be used to block or allow access dynamically, escalate incidents, and document events centrally. All access and sensor events are logged for full traceability and compliance with NIS2 and CER requirements.
