New features and functionality are continually being added to the platform to make life smoother and smarter for property managers, locking system administrators and end users alike. The latest feature that has been released is ‘role-based’ access management.
Role-based access management allows administrators to specify, group, and grant accesses to individuals based on a perceived ‘role’. Roles can relate to organizational position or responsibilities such as maintenance person, cleaner or resident. This simplifies and streamlines the administration process as a person’s access can be easily granted by assigning a role to them, instead of having to define each access separately.
Role management feature now active in iLOQ Web
Designed to provide efficient access to residential and commercial properties and student housing, accesses can be managed through a Windows-client interface – iLOQ Manager+ – or a web-based interface – iLOQ Web.
Like all iLOQ solutions, iLOQ Web has been designed with an emphasis on ease of use. It allows property managers, system administrators and receptionists to quickly and efficiently perform everyday access management tasks – such as granting or revoking accesses – on a simplified, browser-based version of the programming software. It is intuitive, user-friendly and can be operated without extensive training.
Administrators can now create, edit, and delete roles directly through the iLOQ Web service.
While full system deployment and advanced configurations continue to be handled in the more comprehensive iLOQ Manager+ software, this new feature makes iLOQ Web an even more convenient and efficient solution for everyday tasks.
