About the project
Previously, Valokuitunen’s telecom cabinets were secured with physical keys. Managing, returning and controlling those keys created challenges and security risks, especially with users operating across the country.
Valokuitunen needed a solution that was simple, secure, easy to use and scalable. iLOQ provided a battery-free, mobile-access solution that enables access rights to be managed remotely through iLOQ Manager. Mobile keys can be issued, updated and removed quickly, while access logs give Valokuitunen clearer visibility and control over who has accessed each cabinet and when.
Today, the organization uses 1,500 iLOQ padlocks operating with mobile keys across Finland.
